Bridging the Gap Between

Concept & Solution

We help engineering teams turn ideas into manufacturable, real-world solutions…
with the agility, speed, & reliability.

We Move Ideas into Production…
Without The Friction

At C2S, we’ve seen too many great ideas stall between design and production. Not because the concept was flawed, but because the process was. We built C2S to close that gap.

Our mission is simple: help teams bring ideas to life through mechanical design that performs in the real world. Acting as an extension of your internal team, we combine technical precision with hands-on practicality — designing every project with manufacturability in mind from the start.

You’ll work directly with experienced mechanical designers who understand your systems, standards, and deadlines. We stay with your project from CAD through prototyping and into production, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and performance every step of the way. With clear communication, predictable lead times, and transparent pricing, we eliminate guesswork and reduce risk…delivering the quality and accountability of an in-house team, without the overhead.

Robert Kearns III, President of C2S, at his desk. C2S provides mechanical design, precision assemblies, and engineering optimization services.

" C2S helps you accelerate product or program development and eliminate bottlenecks by providing trusted design and support when your internal team needs extra capacity — taking concepts from idea to reality with practical, production-ready results. "

– Robert Kearns III, President C2S

On the Leading Edge of Technology

C2S stays at the forefront of the industry by helping clients move faster and smarter—combining decades of real-world engineering experience with modern manufacturing methods that reduce risk and accelerate results. We act as a trusted extension of client engineering teams, delivering flexible, high-quality design support without adding internal overhead.

Hardware

For computing power, each designer is equipped with cutting edge mobile work stations, allowing them to be efficient and flexible when designing. We employ a variety of 3D printers which give us flexibility to create the optimal prototype for testing.

  • Markforged Mark 2
  • Bambu Labx X1 – carbon (x2)
  • Bambu Labs H2D
  • Snapmaker
  • Phrozen resin Printer
  • Wazer – Waterjet
  • CNC Plasma Cutting table

Software

We work with industry-standard design tools while remaining flexible to meet each client’s workflow. SolidWorks is our primary platform, but we readily adapt to additional CAD systems or plugins to ensure seamless collaboration and project efficiency.

  • Solidworks – Multiple versions to be consistent with what clients use
  • Any additional CAD or plug-in software is an option based on client needs or project.

Flexible Engagement
Designed for Your Workflow

Every team operates differently. That’s why we offer two engagement models designed to fit your needs…not force you into ours. Whether it’s a single project or a long-term partnership, we adapt to your workflow — giving you the flexibility, transparency, and results you need to keep projects moving.

Option 1

Project-Based Engagements

Best for specific design, prototype, or production challenges. We define the scope, agree on clear deliverables, and move fast to get you from idea to outcome with predictable pricing and dependable timelines.

  • One-off product development consulting, designs, or redesigns
  • Rapid prototyping to validate form, fit, and function
  • Short-term overflow or bandwidth support during peak workloads
  • Engineering assistance for urgent production issues or design fixes
  • Specialized mechanical design – For things outside your comfort zone

Option 2

Dedicated Design Partnerships

Ideal for teams that need consistent design and prototyping bandwidth without adding headcount. Youʼll have guaranteed design hours, priority scheduling, and a dedicated team that knows your systems and products inside and out.

  • Companies with continuous mechanical design and prototype needs
  • Engineering teams managing multiple concurrent product lines

Don’t Let Rework & Delays Put Your Reputation on the Line

When outsourcing goes wrong, it costs more than money… it costs trust. Missed deadlines, redesigns, and spotty communication leave your team scrambling to fix problems that should never have existed in the first place. We believe you deserve a partner who makes your life easier, not more stressful. With C2S, you’ll never be left wondering where things stand or what they’ll cost.
